For those that can’t remember things like glass shampoo bottles and paper straws, the “100% Plastic” claim on this 8086 reference card probably doesn’t make much sense.  I remember paying top dollar for for the 8085 version but, alas, despite being 100% plastic (actually, BECAUSE it was 100% plastic) my 8085 reference card eventually cracked into pieces until it was more Scotch tape than not.  Finally, thinking that my 8085 days were behind me, I threw it out and purchased the 8086 version.  Fortunately for the that card, it was never loved as much as the 8085 version so it lived a pretty easy life and has withstood the test of time much better.

At any rate, sometime ago while in much need for an 8085 reference card, I decided to make up my own and they are available here for download.  There are two cards, both have instructions on the front and ASCII on the back that also helps for quick conversion between decimal, binary, hex, and octal.  One version of the card is for the HEX thinkers and the other version for the OCTAL crowd.  Since my MIL MOD system and my Altair use Octal, and nearly everything else i use is Hex, I am stuck in the middle being good at neither.

If you find any mistakes, let me know.  Otherwise, be sure to laminate these in 100% plastic, enjoy the convenience, and happy programming.
